Providers are individuals, groups, and facilities that we partner with. They provide care to members depending on their geography and plan.
The term “provider” means a lot of different things—providers include doctors, health care professionals, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, facilities, and more.
We partner with providers within a certain geographic area to create a network (opens in new tab) to provide care to our members. Providers within this network are also known as preferred providers or participating providers.
