Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Chelsea Cooper is Senior Vice President of Small Group at Oscar and leads Oscar’s Small Group product offering, including Oscar’s partnership with Cigna, Cigna + Oscar.
Chelsea joined Oscar in 2016 as VP of Network, building out core network operations functions, the integration strategy with system partners and the provider services teams. In 2017 she led Oscar’s effort to deliver an improved health care experience for its members as SVP of Member Strategy & Operations. In her role, she managed Member Operations, the Oscar Health Center, Telemedicine and Population Health teams.
Prior to Oscar, Chelsea started her career in finance in New York City, working at Goldman Sachs before relocating to San Francisco to help launch Samasource, a social enterprise tech start-up that connects people living in poverty to digital work. As an early employee and COO, she helped grow the company before attending London Business School for her MBA as a women-in-business scholar. During her second year of Business School, she launched and ran Uber in the UK as its inaugural GM.
Chelsea graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and earned an MBA from London Business School.
