Getting to know your 2025 health plan

Whether you’re a new Oscar member or you’ve just renewed your plan, we’re excited to be a partner in your health and wellness this year. We put together a quick guide to help you get the most out of your plan.
Set up an online account
Having an Oscar account (opens in new tab) is the best way to tap into your plan benefits. With an Oscar account, you can do things like pay your bill, message your Care Team, review your claims, refill prescriptions, and more. To activate your account, simply head over to hioscar.com/register, plug in your email, choose a password, and hit “Create Account”. That’s it!
To take your health plan on the go, download the Oscar app (opens in new tab). You can see your ID card, access your account, and even get care on the app. Just search for “Oscar Health” in your app store, and download.
Search your plan’s network
Our search tool matches you with quality local providers. Search for in-network providers by name, type, and speciality by using the search bar at the top of your Oscar homepage in your account (opens in new tab). You can also search for your reason to visit or condition. You can even apply filters to find options that best suit your preference on gender and language.
Select a primary care provider
To select a , log into your Oscar account and search for a provider based on your preferences. You have up to 30 days after coverage begins to choose your provider. If you don’t choose one within that time, we will assign you one. Don’t worry – you can always explore the network and change providers if needed.
Think of your primary care provider as your go-to health partner. They’ll get to know you and develop treatment plans based on your personal history. Plus, they can help you stay on top of your goals and improve your overall health.

Depending on your Oscar plan, you may have access to features like Virtual Urgent Care and Oscar Primary Care. These care options make it easy to access high-quality healthcare from your home, work, or on-the-go.
With Virtual Urgent Care (opens in new tab), you can talk to a provider from the comfort of your home for $0. Virtual Urgent Care can be great for getting help for common issues like skin conditions, allergies, sore throat, UTIs, and more. To request a Virtual Urgent Care consultation is straight forward. First, log in to your account, click “Care”, and then “Virtual Urgent Care”. Then, you’ll fill out some key information, and get a call or message back from a provider in as little as 15 minutes. You can also call your Care Team directly at (855) 672-2755 and speak to someone who can help you schedule a visit directly.
Oscar Primary Care (opens in new tab) is routine care that helps you stay well and on top of your health, through phone calls or video chats. Oscar Primary Care provides convenient, high-quality primary care right from home, with a provider dedicated to supporting you long-term. This is a great option if you’re looking to establish long-term care with a primary care provider, who can get to know your unique needs and help you manage your health.
Learn about our $3 prescriptions
Medications shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. We found ways to reduce drug costs to $3 or less for many common conditions. If you’re prescribed a new medication, ask your provider to see if there’s a $3 option that works for you. Check out this list (opens in new tab) to learn about the cost of the medications you need.

Oscar’s Virtual Urgent Care offerings are not available in US territories or internationally. If you have an HSA-compatible high-deductible health plan or a Secure plan, you won't be eligible for $0 visits. Prescriptions, visits and services may be limited per provider discretion.
For 2025, Oscar Primary Care is available in TX (excluding non-elite EPO Bronze plans), NY (excluding Standard Silver, Standard Bronze, and Secure plans), FL (excluding HSA and Secure plans), AZ (excluding Secure plans), GA (excluding HSA and Secure plans), OK (excluding Secure plans). Oscar Primary Care providers are employed by Oscar Medical Group, not Oscar Insurance Company or its insurance plan affiliates. Oscar Primary Care is only available to members 18 years of age and older. Prescriptions, visits and services may be limited at the provider’s discretion and Oscar Primary Care is not intended to be used in conjunction with another primary care consultation. Oscar Care in-person visits in conjunction with your virtual visit may have a copayment. Due to medical licensing laws, you must be in your home state at the time of your virtual visit.
